Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a field-lacated laborer to support project sites with general construction tasks. Under supervision, you will perform site preparation, tool operation and material handling to maintain safe work areas.

The role requires physical fitness, no specific experience, and willingness to travel; you will work outdoors and follow safety protocols while contributing to project efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record within parameters.
• Must be 18 or older and able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Maintain 40-hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour refresher if required.
• Outdoor work environment and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate hazards.
• Operate small hand and power tools; decontaminate equipment.
• May operate road/off-road haul and water trucks.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Firewatch.

Job description

Perform tasks involving physical labor at project sites. Under direct supervision of Site Manager, performs support to field efforts on general construction labor and maintenance tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Operate small hand and power tools, decontamination of equipment.
• May be asked to operate on road and off road haul and water trucks.
• Handling of hazardous and non hazardous materials.
• Firewatch

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent, valid drivers license with driving record within company established parameters 18 years of age or older, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, ability to pass pre employment physical and drug screen, maintain 40 hour HAZWOPER and applicable 8 hour refresher if required, ability to work in an outdoor environment, 0- 2 years of experience. Willingness to travel and report to work upon short notice.
