Job summary

Apache Workforce is seeking an experienced Structural Welder to support heavy industrial fabrication projects. This role focuses on welding and assembling structural steel components used in industrial equipment and large-scale assemblies.

You will read blueprints, interpret weld symbols, and perform welding using various processes, ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced shop. Night shifts may apply with a 10% premium, and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of structural welding or heavy fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Must pass a welding test prior to placement.
• Strong safety awareness in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Welding and assembling structural steel components for industrial systems.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized fabrication area.
• Supporting production flow and assisting with additional fabrication tasks.

Day & Night Shifts Available
Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour DOE (Depending on Experience)

Night Shift Premium: Additional 10% shift differential on top of the offered rate

Overview

Apache Workforce is hiring experienced Structural Welders to support heavy industrial fabrication projects for multiple manufacturing partners. This role focuses on welding and assembling structural steel components used in industrial equipment and large-scale assemblies.

This is a skilled position requiring strong welding ability, blueprint interpretation, and experience working in fabrication environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

Structural Welders may be responsible for:

• Welding and assembling structural steel components for industrial systems
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Performing welding using assigned processes to meet quality standards
• Selecting appropriate wire, filler materials, and welding techniques
• Setting up and adjusting welding equipment (amps, volts, and machine settings)
• Conducting visual inspections and verifying weld quality
• Performing grinding, finishing, and material preparation using hand and power tools
• Completing basic documentation and inspection records as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized fabrication area

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of structural welding or heavy fabrication experience
• Proficiency in multiple welding processes (as required by assignment)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Strong understanding of structural steel and fabrication methods
• Experience with weld inspection and quality standards
• Ability to pass a welding test prior to placement
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work in fast-paced industrial environments

Work is performed in a heavy industrial fabrication shop environment and may include:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
• Standing, bending, and repetitive movement throughout shifts
• Exposure to high heat, noise, and non-climate-controlled conditions
• Use of full PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots
• Shift lengths up to 10 hours per day, up to 6 days per week depending on project needs

Pay Range:
