Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists in Oklahoma is seeking a skilled Structural Welder to set up and operate advanced welding equipment to fabricate and repair structural components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot welding issues and ensure all finished welds meet quality specifications.

The role requires at least 2 years of welding experience, MIG/Fluxcore proficiency, blueprint reading, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must pass Closed Root 3G MIG/Fluxcore Fill & Cap Weld Test.
• Minimum 2 years welding experience.
• Experience operating MIG and Fluxcore welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Intermediate math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong understanding of volts, amps, and welding machine adjustments.
• Ability to troubleshoot welding and production issues.
• Basic safety training required.
• Ability to identify defects and follow quality procedures.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate advanced welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform MIG and Fluxcore welding according to specifications.

• Inspect finished welds and products for quality and completeness.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and make machine adjustments as needed.
• Maintain production standards and minimize scrap and rework.
• Participate in process improvement efforts to increase safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Complete production tracking and basic data entry as required.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
