Job summary

Garver’s Buildings team in Houston seeks a Structural Team Lead to oversee structural projects from inception through design. You will build and lead a team, provide design support for architectural clients, and manage multiple projects across Garver’s regional footprint.

The role requires strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, US codes, and BIM with Revit, RAM Structural Systems, RAM Elements. Collaboration and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of US building codes and structural design standards.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas or ability to obtain licensure within 3 months.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a structural engineering team supporting architectural clients.
• Provide engineering support for architectural clients and manage projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams across Garver's regional footprint.
• Perform structural analysis, design, detailing, and BIM drawings.
• Mentor staff and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
