Job summary

MSCCN is seeking hardworking individuals to support structural steel fabrication in a manufacturing environment. You will assist fitters, welders, and operators, helping with material staging, cleanup, and safety compliance on-site at our Jacksonville facility.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions, operate basic shop tools, and learn fabrication processes. We offer competitive benefits, PTO, and opportunities to transition from NPC to permanent roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, warehouse, or industrial settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate punches, grinders, drills, saws, oxy-fuel torches, and other basic equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain work areas clean, organized, and safe; restock supplies as necessary.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and assemblies during fabrication.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Assist production personnel as required to support fabrication operations.
• Move and organize structural steel material; operate overhead cranes when trained.
• Assist with measuring, marking, and layout as directed.
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping and shop support activities throughout the facility.
• Other duties as needed.
