Job summary

Alliance Industrial Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated steel fabrication and erection projects to ensure goals are met within time and budget.

The role requires coordinating with vendors and customers to maintain schedules and costs, while ensuring qualified manpower and safety on site. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in steel construction, strong communication and planning skills, and preferably Tekla and MS Project

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the steel construction or similar Industry.
  • Must have good customer service skills as well as written and oral communication.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work load.
  • Prior experience with Tekla, or similar software preferred.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project (a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent job experience, required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendors and customers to maintain project schedule and cost.
  • Work with Purchasing Manager to obtain PO’s as needed by providing necessary information.
  • Work with job superintendent to ensure the projects have quality manpower, tools and safety equipment required to be successful.
  • Produce and review monthly billings, Project Performance Reviews, Schedules and other data to assure profitability.
  • Determine staffing requirement on the job sites by producing look-ahead schedules and update weekly.
  • Manage Extra Work Tickets to ensure project costs are captured correctly and reflected on time cards.
  • Maintain and produce project records including budgets, schedules, change orders and Subcontracts

This highly energetic candidate will plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of each project are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
