Job summary

EZARC in Utah is seeking a structural steel project engineer responsible for attending job meetings, reviewing project documents, coordinating deliveries, and tracking RFIs and submittals to keep the project on schedule. You will ensure drawings are current and shared with field partners, and coordinate field communications and inspections.

Proficiency with Navisworks, Trimble, Bluebeam, Vista, Tekla, and Microsoft Office is expected, along with strong reading of drawings and effective

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field preferred, or three years of experience in the steel fabrication industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings

Responsibilities

• Attend job specific meetings and take meeting minutes.
• Review and ensure current drawings are used by field and partners.
• Coordinate material deliveries and inform field team of schedule
• Inspect and document field conditions and inspection reports as required
• Prepare, review, submit, and track RFIs and submittals
• Prepare, log and track NCRs with FE assistance
• Prepare redlines and submit documents to Project Admin and BIM personnel
• Use Navisworks, Trimble, Bluebeam, Vista, Microsoft Office, Tekla, etc.
• Be a team player supporting the project team
