Responsibilities

• Assist with layout, assembly, and installation of structural steel components.
• Use welding equipment and rigging gear to secure steel elements.
• Perform welding and cutting operations (stick, MIG, oxyacetylene).
• Interpret welding symbols and drawings to ensure weld quality.
• Assist with rigging and hoisting using cranes and rigging gear.
• Inspect rigging equipment for wear and report issues.
• Adhere to safety regulations and participate in safety meetings.
• Perform visual quality inspections and assist with QC testing.
• Collaborate with crew, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Provide updates on progress and issues to supervisors.
