Our estimators analyze projects to determine scope, schedule requirements, and necessary materials. They coordinate detail, fabrication, and erection to effectively bring projects within budget and on schedule.

All Things Metal is a structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector located in Phoenix, Arizona, off Central and Pinnacle Peak. We operate in a fast-paced environment with a strong company culture in a challenging industry. We are looking for individuals to help us grow and succeed.

This position will be relocating in a couple of years to Wittmann at 19500 W Jomax Road. If you aren't willing to make that commute, please do not apply.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review bid plans to determine scope.
• Clarify ambiguities with clients.
• Complete steel takeoff using Bluebeam, Tekla Structures, and Tekla Powerfab.
• Review bids for project-specific nuances (access, special conditions, etc.).
• Draft clear bid inclusions, exclusions, and notes.
• Attend job walks.
• Review revised design drawings and price change orders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding of architectural and structural drawings, including structural steel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook) and basic computer/internet skills.
• Experience with Bluebeam PDF takeoff or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of related experience as a structural steel estimator.
• Experience with Tekla EPM & Tekla Structures is a plus.
• Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
