Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Welder with basic MIG/GMAW welding skills and up to one year of hands-on experience. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to welding procedures, and the ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.

You will operate welding equipment, assist with setup, and cross-train across production tasks. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 55 lbs, and working in a loud environment with PPE.

Qualifications

• Basic MIG/GMAW welding skills with up to one year of hands-on welding experience.
• Willingness to cross-train and work at other production positions as needed.
• Commitment to safety procedures and PPE usage.

Responsabilités

• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Operate welding equipment and related tools per WPS and drawings.
• Interpret fabrication drawings and align parts for welds.
• Inspect welds and record measurements to ensure quality.
• Maintain clean work area and proper material storage.
• Lift/move materials and assist with setup as needed.
