Job description

Skillforce is currently searching for reliable and safety-oriented Construction Laborers for various Steel Erection projects across the Clinton, IA area. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in steel building erection, steel layout, steel fabrication and assembly, welding, and other physical tasks. You can also expect to run machinery such as: Skid steers, AWP/Scissors lifts, rollers, excavators, and heavy trucks depending on your experience.

The pay range for this position is $25.00/hour up to $32.00/hour, based on experience.

Requirements in this Position:

• Prior experience working with steel erection a plus
• Valid driver's license.
• MUST pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Prior experience in steel erection, concrete work, or carpentry is highly preferred
• Regularly lifting over 50 pounds, crouching, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Hours vary: Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM OR Monday through Thursday (4-10's) from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Both schedules have the option for overtime.
