Job summary

Trinity Search Group is seeking a skilled Steel Detailer to support fabrication and project execution for structural steel and miscellaneous metals in Ponder, TX. The role works closely with shop personnel and project management to ensure accurate drawings and smooth production.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of detailing experience and a strong grasp of fabrication shop operations, with the ability to read architectural and structural drawings and coordinate with field teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of detailing experience within structural steel, miscellaneous metals, ornamental metals, or commercial steel fabrication.
• Strong understanding of fabrication shop operations and commercial construction practices.
• Experience detailing stairs, handrails, gates, miscellaneous metals, and structural steel.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fabrication and shop drawings for structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects.
• Coordinate detailing for stairs, handrails, gates, structural components, and other fabricated steel products.
• Collaborate with project managers, fabrication personnel, and field teams throughout project execution.
• Review drawings for constructability and fabrication accuracy.
• Coordinate revisions and resolve detailing conflicts before fabrication begins.
• Support fabrication operations by maintaining accurate and organized drawing packages.
