SST Direct is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer for a direct-hire role in the Madera/Fresno California area. The position offers relocation assistance and full benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan with matching.

Responsibilities include producing accurate fabrication drawings, reviewing plans, and preparing submittals for structural and miscellaneous steel projects using Tekla Structures.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (Required).
• 5+ years of structural steel detailing or related construction experience.
• Proficiency with Tekla Structures (required); AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication, erection, and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
• Knowledge of drawing scales, sections, elevations, and construction tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Pay: $35 - $45 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary
