Shape the safety of heavy steel structures—one weld at a timeStep onto the production floor of a leading manufacturer of fabricated steel products, and you’re the quality gatekeeper. As our on-site Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), you’ll move from station to station—cutting, punching, shearing, stamping, notching, welding, and painting—verifying that every assembly designed to carry heavy loads meets code, print, and performance expectations.A day in this roleYou arrive, gear up (all PPE and test equipment provided), review fabrication drawings and work orders, and plan your inspection route. Throughout your shift, you perform visual checks and non-destructive examinations, confirm GMAW spray transfer weld parameters and technique, and document each step in clear, accurate reports.
