Job summary

MK Consulting Group seeks a Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee planning, execution, and completion of structural steel projects. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with specifications, coordinating with engineers, fabricators, erectors, and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and deep knowledge of fabrication and erection practices, with a track record of managing complex steel projects and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience in structural steel construction.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate project teams, including engineers, fabricators, erectors, and subcontractors.
• Client and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and stakeholders.
• Budget Management: Ensure materials, labor, and equipment costs are included in estimates and control expenses.
• Change Management: Monitor changes in scope, cost, and schedule; manage the change order process.
• Quality Control: Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communication: Effectively relay project status and issues to all parties.
• Subcontractor Management: Select and coordinate subcontractors and negotiate contracts.
• Document Control: Maintain shop/field drawings and project docs.
• Closeout Process: Manage inspections, punch lists, and final payments.

Structural Steel Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and completion of structural steel projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications . Manage all aspects of the project, from initial planning and budgeting to final completion, including coordinating with various teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Team Leadership:Managing and coordinating project teams, including engineers, fabricators, erectors, and other subcontractors.
• Client and Stakeholder Management:Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and other stakeholders.
