Qualifications

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural / Revit Technician in one of the below posting locations. In this role you will assist structural engineers by providing building information (BIM) modeling.


Posting Locations for this role: Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center); Normal, IL; Peoria, IL; Phoenix, AZ; St. Louis, MO



Job Activities:


  • Prepare Structural Revit models of buildings of varying types.

  • Prepare Structural construction documents including plans, elevations, schedules, and details.

  • Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines.

  • Perform redline drafting.

  • Read and duplicate existing structural plans for use in building additions or renovations.


Specific Requirements include:


  • Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related degree or combination of education and experience.

  • Proficiency in Revit is required.

  • 3- 5 years of experience with Revit.

  • Ability to visualize and illustrate design in two and three dimensions.

  • Ability to balance several projects at once.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Experience with Building Structures preferred

  • Experience with Navisworks preferred

  • Revit or Autodesk Certification preferred

Salary Range: $29 - $36/hr (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
