Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) is seeking a Structural Revit Designer for our Digital Delivery team. The ideal candidate will perform structural design and CAD/BIM production tasks related to permanent and temporary structures supporting construction operations. Requirements include at least 2 years’ experience in engineering plan production and familiarity with technical tools, software, and CAD/BIM best practices. Our Digital Delivery group creates 3D models and construction documents vital for quality project design, cost control, and construction excellence.

Location

This position can be based in Omaha, NE; Lone Tree, CO; or Lenexa, KS offices.

Responsibilities

1. Develop 3D models for structures supporting construction activities
2. Use Revit for design, estimate, and construction documents
3. Participate in design reviews and evaluate concepts
4. Maintain task status on team schedules
5. Follow CAD/BIM and quality standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in CAD/BIM structural design
• Associate degree in CAD, Engineering Technology, or similar
• Proficiency in Revit modeling, sheet production, and family creation
• Additional skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Navisworks are a plus
• Knowledge of engineering principles and materials for structural work
• Ability to read and understand construction documents
• Understanding of structural connections for steel and concrete
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Critical thinking and attention to detail
• Basic Microsoft Office skills

Compensation and Benefits
