Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Building Structures team in Allentown, PA or NYC. This role targets leaders who can manage projects, mentor teams, and build strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio.

The ideal candidate will oversee design, analysis, and construction administration for structural projects nationwide, collaborating with architects, MEP professionals, and clients, while guiding teams through all project phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
Minimum 3 years of related professional experience; 7 years preferred for some roles.
PE license or ability to obtain licensure in other states is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as Project Manager for building structural projects, with scope, schedule, budget, and QA responsibilities.
Lead structural design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures, including new design and existing buildings.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects and MEP partners.
Develop construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
Provide technical leadership and QA/QC for calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Mentor junior staff and oversee technical development.
Act as primary client contact, expanding relationships.
Support proposal development, scoping, and business development.
Lead projects through design, bid, and construction administration.
Plan workloads and staffing schedules.
