Job summary

AHBL is seeking a Project Engineer to join our structural team in the Tacoma area. You will perform analysis and design for civic centers, industrial buildings, and educational facilities, collaborating with engineers to deliver projects from concept to construction.

Ideal candidates have a civil/structural or architectural engineering degree, an EIT, 0–3 years of experience, and knowledge of steel, concrete, and wood design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering.
• EIT Certification.
• 0–3 years of experience in structural analysis and design, including internship or related work.
• Knowledge of Steel, Concrete, and Wood Design.
• Familiarity with International Building Code and ASCE 7.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural analysis and design on new and renovation projects (civic centers, industrial, educational, etc.).
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure client satisfaction on every project.
