We are currently seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our team. This role can be remote or based in our Columbus, OH office. The engineer will manage design and inspection projects, work with clients, and handle projects involving structures like silos, often at heights or in confined spaces.

Principal Responsibilities

• Read and understand construction documents for data collection during inspections.
• Inspect various structures (concrete and steel) and identify deficiencies.
• Collect measurements, photos, and notes during inspections.
• Perform inspections from lifts or rigging on silos, including confined space entry.
• Coordinate with facility personnel and rigging subcontractors.
• Establish and maintain client relationships and document observations clearly.
• Write detailed technical reports on inspections, observations, and recommendations.
• Analyze deficiencies and collaborate on repair design drawings.
• Work with design teams on structural drawings and code compliance.
• Travel out-of-state 1-2 weeks per month, depending on workload.

Required Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required.

• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, IBC codes.
• Certifications: MSHA, OSHA 10, Confined Space Training.
