Job Summary:
Salas O’Brien is seeking a licensed structural engineer to lead structural services in our New York City office. In this role, you will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside in-house architects and engineers.
This role will involve an assortment of duties including project management, staff management, engineering analysis, and managing subconsultants. Our subconsultants include NYC Qualified Retaining Wall Inspectors (QWRI), Qualified Exterior Wall Inspectors (QEWI), civil engineers, and geotechnical engineers.

The expected base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $155,000USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, project experience and qualifications.

Bachelors or better in Structural Engineering.
7+ years experience in structural design and project administration.
Working knowledge of NYC Building Codes.
Experience with NYC existing buildings and project management
