Job summary

The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking a senior structural analyst to support a top-tier client. You will perform structural analyses on aircraft structures, focusing on Landing Gear, Doors, and Windows, using CATIA and ENOVIA for modeling and design validation.

Responsibilities include applying GD&T, conducting static and fatigue analyses, and coordinating with design teams to ensure integrity and compliance, with access to PDM and DCCS

Qualifications

• U.S. Person per ITAR regulations.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace or related).
• 16+ years in structures analysis.
• Preferred: CATIA and ENOVIA experience.
• Preferred: GD&T familiarity.
• Preferred: FEA tools experience for structural validation.

Summary:

• Performs structural analysis of aircraft structures specializing in Landing Gear, Doors, and Windows (Flight Deck and Passenger).
• Uses 3D modeling tools such as CATIA and ENOVIA for structural analysis and design.
• Provides technical solutions to a wide range of structural analysis problems.
• Applies Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to structural analysis.
• Performs static and fatigue analysis for aircraft structural components.
• Coordinates with design engineering teams for structural integrity and compliance.
• Uses finite element analysis tools for structural modeling and validation.
• Develops test plans and supports structural testing for validation.
• Utilizes DCCS, ETAC, and PDM for configuration management and product data management.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with focus on Mechanical, Civil (including approved Structural), Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences from an ABET Accredited University.
• 16+ years of related work experience in structures analysis.
• Preferred: Experience with 3D modeling tools such as CATIA and ENOVIA.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Preferred: Familiarity with DCCS, ETAC, and PDM.
• Preferred: Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of structural problems.
• Preferred: Experience in static and fatigue analysis for aircraft components.
• Preferred: Experience with finite element analysis tools for structural validation.
