Job summary

Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturing is seeking a packaging engineer to deliver temporary promotional packaging and pre-packed retail merchandise vehicles designed for durable handling throughout the supply chain.

You will collaborate with Brand, Sales, Project Managers, and Graphic Designers to develop innovative, cost-effective structures, manage testing, and drive continuous improvements. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of structural corrugated experience (Corrugated material, Secondary packaging).
• Willingness and availability to travel up to 20%.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

• Deliver temporary promotional packaging and pre-packed retail merchandise vehicles that withstand supply chain handling
• Develop innovative, structurally sound, and cost-effective prepacked merchandise vehicles
• Manage formal ship testing to ensure structural integrity and compatibility with the retail supply chain
• Provide continuous improvement of existing POP vehicles through material and labor reductions
• Support Merchandising Specialists through the display development process from concept to deployment
• Manage ideation, project development, specification generation, and vendor management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand, Sales, Project Managers, and Graphic Designers
• Travel to co-packers for start-ups as required
