Job summary

Blue Origin is offering a structured internship in Structural & Mechanical Engineering on Merritt Island, FL. Interns work with Blue engineering teams on projects across mechanical systems, propulsion, and structures, gaining hands-on, real-world experience with mentorship and collaboration.

Ideal candidates are graduate students with strong communication, leadership potential, and a passion for space. Housing/relocation support is provided; 15 weeks full-time commitment is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Blue Origin engineering teams on projects in support of business units.
• Assist in design, analysis and test of mechanical systems, propulsion systems, and structures.
