Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an Iron Worker in Thompson Falls, MT to perform structural steel erection with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. The role supports on-site construction activities in a manufacturing or refinery environment and reports to the superintendent.

The ideal candidate has readiness to work at heights, pass background checks and drug screening, and hold a GED or high-school diploma. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• TWIC Card and/or Real ID required.
• Ability to work at heights in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks during long shifts.
• Skilled in math including adding and subtracting fractions.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in work area layout, assembly, and installation of structural steel.
• May include taking measurements, assisting with setting up rigging, unloading, and shake out of material.
• Install safety line and posts.
• Clean work area and assist in keeping it safe.
