American Structurepoint in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Structural Intern to gain hands-on experience shaping real projects across concrete, steel, wood, and masonry.

As part of the Structural Engineering group, you'll work with project managers and staff, learn design tools like AutoCAD and Revit, and participate in site visits while exploring career options in civil engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Reliable transportation to and from design center.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in structural designs.
• Assist Senior Staff in forensic investigations related to damage and deterioration structures and physical condition assessment studies.
• Utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce digital drawings and models.
• Other duties as assigned.

American Structurepoint’s Structural Engineering group is seeking candidates to join us for our summer internship program in Indianapolis, IN ! As a Structural intern, you won’t just sit on the sidelines— you’ll dive into real projects and get hands-on experience in engineering design , 3D modeling with Revit, shop drawing reviews, development of calculation tools, and even go on site visits with our engineers. You’ll work closely with project managers and production staff, contributing to buildings made from concrete, steel, wood, and masonry across a variety of industries. It’s a great chance to build your skills, explore different areas of structural engineering, and s ee how your work impacts real-world construction.
