Job summary

CAM Integrated Solutions is seeking skilled pipefitters in Katy, TX to cut, thread, bevel, and assemble pipe systems per blueprints.

You will measure, mark, and prepare components, plan layouts, and select materials for installations or repairs using standard shop tools. Training across welding and threading will be provided for safe, compliant work.

Qualifications

• Experience cutting, threading, and beveling pipe to specifications.
• Ability to lay out pipe systems from blueprints.
• Capable of measuring and marking pipes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and bevel pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, and threading joints.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
• Select pipe sizes and types and related materials according to drawings and specifications.
• Cut and bevel holes in components, prior to pipe installation, using hand and power tools.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools.
