Southwest Shipyard, LP in Houston is seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures per blueprints. You will cut, fit, and weld parts, inspect quality, and coordinate with welders and trades to ensure structural integrity.
Day and night shifts with overtime and on-site testing are part of the job. Must have TWIC, at least 1 year shipyard experience, bilingual in English/Spanish, and the ability to complete required paperwork and safety procedures.

Southwest Shipyard owns and operates four (4) shipyards in South Texas with direct deep-water access to the Gulf of Mexico. This position is primarily responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal structures and components in accordance with blueprints and specifications. Duties include cutting, fitting, and welding metal parts, inspecting for quality, and coordinating with welders and other trades to ensure the structural integrity of the project.
Regular Attendance And Punctuality Are Required Of All Employees.

Day Shift: 6:00am - 3:30pm
Night Shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am (Midnight)
Overtime And/or Weekend Availability Required.
