Job summary

Performance Energy Services, LLC is seeking a STRUCTURAL FITTER for full-time work at Gulf of Mexico, Gray, LA. The role requires reading blueprints, cutting, aligning, and assembling structural components with hand and power tools, and participating in safety programs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of fabrication experience, can interpret ISO/P&ID drawings, and will pass a Hands-on Fitter Test. Rotational schedule 5/2; crew change in Houma, LA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years fabrication experience.
• Able to interpret ISO’s and P&ID’s.
• Able to torch cut metal.
• Bevel-cut and square-cut metal with arc cutting equipment.
• Pierce and cut slots in metal using plasma arc cutting equipment.
• Create field sketches.
• Pass Hands-on Fitter Test.

Responsibilities

• Layout, position, aligns and secures parts for welding and bolt-up.
• Measure, mark, cut, bore, fit and/or install various structural components in accordance with blueprints and job specifications using hand and power tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders/benders, etc.
• Participate in JSA’s and all other Safety, Health and Environmental Processes.
• Conduct behavioral based safety observations.
