Job description

Labor One Staffing is looking for Structural Fitters for the Ingleside, TX area. Fitters will build and repair large structures and platforms. Most fabrication will be done with Fluxcore. Must pass a skill test. This is an 18-month long project starting in June 2022.

Responsibilities:

1. This position is responsible for performing, with minimal supervision, steel structural work in all stages of new construction of marine vessels.

Qualifications:

1. The position requires a working knowledge of procedures.
2. Strong mechanical aptitude.
3. Ability to read blueprints and follow directions.
4. Experience in the trade, knowledge of ship terminology, blueprint reading, and measurements.
5. Ability to interpret job specifications and drawings.

Long term project. Per-diem available for those that qualify.
