Job summary

KAI Hawaii Inc is seeking a Full-time Engineer Inspector to focus on the structural integrity inspections of buildings, bridges, and other structures, including special inspections and observation during construction. Candidates should have strong report writing and communication skills, proficiency with MS Word and Excel, and the ability to perform outdoor field inspections involving hiking and ladders.

Special Inspection certificates or equivalent experience are required; a PE license is

Qualifications

• Must have excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel, and the ability to learn other software applications.
• Must be able to do outdoor field inspection that requires some hiking and use of ladders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect structural integrity of buildings, bridges, and other structures.
• Perform special inspections and observe during construction.
• Prepare and present inspection reports and findings.
