Job summary

Orbital is seeking a Structural Field Inspector to support Asset Integrity and Asset Management programs at client facilities. The role involves field inspections of structural assets, documenting conditions, and collecting accurate data for risk-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related technical discipline, or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of structural or asset integrity inspection experience in industrial environments.
• Experience with Asset Management/MI/RBI programs preferred.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client sites and work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of existing structural assets and document observable conditions.
• Ensure inspections meet Orbital and client standards, with timely reporting of critical findings.
• Collect field notes, photos, measurements, and supporting documentation for reports.
• Coordinate daily field activities with Project Manager, inspectors, and client contacts.
