Job summary

Modular Power Solutions, Inc. (MPS), part of the Rosendin family, seeks a Manager, Structural Engineering to lead design, review, and execution of modular structural systems.

You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and procurement to ensure scalable, code-compliant solutions from design through deployment. You will build and manage a team of engineers, provide technical direction, and drive standards while supporting business growth and travel to project sites as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 10+ years of progressive structural engineering experience in modular construction or related fields.
• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring engineers.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC).

Responsibilities

• Review geotechnical reports, foundation criteria, structural drawings, and calculations.
• Prepare and coordinate PE-stamped structural deliverables and reports.
• Lead design review for foundations, frames, skids, and modular components.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Mentor engineers, establish standards, and scale processes as needed.
• Visit facilities and sites to verify fabrication and deployment.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop inspection/testing plans for structural scopes.
• Maintain engineering documentation for leadership and clients.
