Hanson Professional Services Inc. invites undergraduates for the 2027 Structural Engineering Internship Program. You will work on infrastructure and facility projects, becoming an active member of project teams and gaining hands-on experience with engineers.

Responsibilities include structural analysis, reports, planning, software use, plan reviews, meetings, and site visits. Candidates must be pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) and have completed junior year or 60 credits.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Preferably completed junior year or at least 60 credit hours toward degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with structural analysis and design calculations.
• Support preparation of engineering reports and plan production.
• Utilize industry-standard engineering software and tools.
• Review plans, specifications and construction documents.
• Participate in project meetings and coordination activities.
• Conduct research to support project development.
• Assist with field investigations and site visits as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on various projects.
