Job summary

Stantec’s Structural Intern role in Phoenix offers hands‑on experience in designing and detailing structural systems. You’ll work under a Senior Structural Engineer to perform design tasks in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber, with exposure to Revit drafting and project coordination.

Responsibilities include interpretations of drawings, coordination with other disciplines, and basic calculations using standard software.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of junior level classes completed; must have completed design courses in steel and concrete.

Responsibilities

• Conducts basic interpretations of drawings, codes, and similar materials.
• Performs Revit design for the structural discipline.
• Coordinate with architectural/interior/engineering disciplines under a senior engineer.
• Perform field work as directed by a senior engineer.
• Perform basic calculations to analyze and design building components using company software.
