Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Arlington, VA. You’ll contribute to the Building Engineering Services Group, collaborating with engineers and architects on high-impact projects across local and global scales.

You will learn to apply structural analysis, modeling, and design documentation under supervision, while developing professional skills in a multidisciplinary, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how structural engineering contributes to the success of complex, interdisciplinary projects.
• Gain hands-on structural engineering experience on local and global projects.
