ARCO/Murray, part of ARCO family, is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to support design/build projects across industrial, self-storage, and multi-family facilities in Illinois. You'll assist in developing structural system designs under close mentorship.

Qualifications

• Work with fabrication modeling team to facilitate project execution.
• Provide value engineering reviews to maximize savings.

AME Engineering is currently looking for a Structural Engineering Intern to join our team. The Structural Engineering Intern will be responsible for helping develop the structural system design in support of design/build projects including Industrial, Self-storage, Controlled Environments, Entertainment, Multi-Family, and other types of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify structural systems including load calculations, gravity and lateral system analysis, structural details, and connections for various projects.
• Assist our multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver projects.
• Join projects with other engineering and modeling staff to deliver comprehensive structural design packages.
• Assist in the development of industry-leading automated design methods and tools as part of a forward-thinking, innovation-focused team of engineers and R&D staff.
• Work with our fabrication modeling team to facilitate successful project execution.
• Provide value engineering reviews and alternate design options to maximize cost savings, optimize lead times, and better execute projects.
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.

Requirements
