Job summary

Worley in Long Beach/Monrovia, CA is seeking an undergraduate student with an engineering focus to contribute under close supervision in the Structural discipline. You will participate in delivering engineering services and assist with designs, specifications, datasheets, calculations and reports.

Candidate should be pursuing an engineering degree, with developing software skills and familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of technical and practical engineering skills.
• Understanding the basic requirements of relevant engineering.
• Developing skills in engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the delivery of engineering services meeting Worley and regulatory specs, on time and within budget.
• Assist in preparation of detailed designs and drawings.
• Assist in preparation of specifications.
• Assist in preparation of equipment datasheets, line lists, equipment lists and valve lists.
• Assist in preparation of high-level calculations and reports.
• Update existing standards and various documents.
• Communicate effectively with the project team and stakeholders.
