Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• Coursework in steel, wood, concrete, and precast/prestressed concrete design.
• Solid time management skills and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work efficiently.
• Good working knowledge of fundamental structural engineering concepts.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills.

• Some proficiency with AutoCAD Revit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design work within the Facilities (Structural) Market Sector.
• Perform calculations and simulations related to structural engineering.
• Research assigned topics to support project development.
• Assist with field inspections at job sites.
• Collaborate with RESPEC’s multi-discipline team on public and private sector projects.
• Work alongside full-time employees and receive mentoring to develop civil engineering skills.
