KPFF San Diego invites motivated students to apply for the Summer 2027 Structural Engineering Internship. You will work closely with local KPFF engineers, receive hands-on training, and contribute to real projects in a collegial, mentorship-driven environment.

This internship emphasizes learning fundamentals, includes in-house mentorship, and opportunities to engage on varied structural tasks across projects.

Qualifications

• Current student who has completed at least 3 years of BS Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA or above in Bachelor’s coursework.
• Understanding of structural engineering fundamentals (free body diagrams, P/V/M diagrams, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist structural engineering team on design and analysis tasks as part of hands-on training.
• Engage in project meetings and learn to apply fundamentals to real projects.
• Receive mentorship and participate in a variety of structural projects.
