Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. invites students to join the Structural Engineering Internship at the New Millennium facility in Rogers, Arkansas, for Summer 2027.

You will work on design, analysis, and field inspections, gaining real responsibility beyond classroom tasks. You will use AutoCAD and BIM, contribute to projects from joists to decks, and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and operations staff to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in structural engineering and civil design.
• GPA of 2.7 or higher preferred.
• Pursuing an ABET‑accredited degree with EIT/license path.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, analysis, and construction projects for diverse facilities.
• Evaluate structural components such as joists, girders, and connections.
• Conduct inspections of infrastructure and support project decisions with data.
