Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking a Structural Intern to join our team in the Denver area as part of a comprehensive internship program. You will participate on project teams for architectural projects across commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings, expanding your structural engineering education.

We welcome well-prepared students from top engineering schools and offer in-house staff development opportunities, with flexible scheduling to accommodate a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• BS - Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 24 hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering
• Accepted in or plans to apply for graduate program in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
• EIT preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill required
• Flexible scheduling but should be consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Participate on project teams for architectural projects of all types, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings.
• Expand education in structural engineering through internship in Walter P Moore’s structural engineering group.
• Receive opportunity to participate in in-house staff development program.
