Job summary

OneFourTwo Design Group in White Plains, NY is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support design, drafting, and calculations under senior engineers.

You will assist with preliminary designs, code reviews, client meetings, and construction‑ready drawings using Revit, coordinating with all disciplines. Enrolled Civil Engineering students with a 3.0+ GPA are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Enrolled in Civil Engineering degree program (Graduate or Undergraduate).
• Previous construction or engineering internship/co‑op experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and other outside project team members.
• Prepare preliminary designs for clients.
• Review building codes to assure correct implementation of preparation and design.
• Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, architect, civil, and mechanical engineers.
• Produce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during preparation of construction documents for permit submittal as well as construction.
• Produce construction‑ready design drawings using Revit and coordinate with all disciplines to assure complete and accurate alignment.
