Job summary

Foth in Mehoopany, PA is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to work on the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of structural systems at client sites. You will apply structural engineering fundamentals and develop detailed drawings using 2D and 3D CAD tools under the supervision of a lead engineer.

Pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) with coursework in concrete or steel design is expected; prior CAD experience helps.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Previous experience with and/or coursework involving 2D/3D CAD software
• Previous experience with and/or coursework involving the theory of and/or designing of concrete or steel structures

Responsibilities

• Apply structural design and engineering fundamentals
• Perform tasks under the supervision of a lead engineer
• Develop detailed structural drawings using 2D and 3D CAD packages
• Assist with validation of software and drawing databases
