Job summary

Garver is seeking a Buildings Structural Engineering Intern in San Antonio, Texas. You will work closely with senior professionals to learn structural design of buildings and gain exposure to steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems.

This in-office internship offers mentorship, networking with industry leaders, wellness and development programs, and opportunities to contribute to real projects while building your career in a collaborative, client-focused engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a structural engineering degree, civil engineering degree, or architectural engineering degree with a structural focus from an ABET-accredited program.
• Strong desire to pursue a career in structural building systems engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced structural building design professionals and industry leaders.
• Learn about structural building systems and materials including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Gain experience in the competitive consulting structural engineering industry.
• Engage in Garver Launch activities and contribute to team projects.
