Job summary

You will work with experienced engineers on real world civil and structural projects and gain exposure to fall protection systems and related structural solutions in a team environment. Students collaborate with project teams, contribute to reports and CAD/BIM drawings, and develop skills across design and field activities.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering program at an accredited university.
Must be entering junior or senior year of undergraduate studies at the time of the co-op.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Prior academic or internship experience with structural design preferred.
Familiarity with structural design software; Revit strongly preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist with design and engineering tasks focused on fall protection systems and related structural solutions.
Perform routine structural engineering assignments under close supervision, using established standards, procedures, and drawings in accordance with industry best practices.
Gain exposure to the full design process, including both office-based planning and documentation as well as field-based assessment and support.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support technical design efforts, calculations, and documentation.
Contribute to engineering reports, sketches, and CAD/BIM drawings under the guidance of senior staff.
