Job summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking a Structural Engineer to provide design technical support for NAVFAC Northwest, performing structural analysis, design reviews, and technical support for building and waterfront structures on Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, the ability to pass a T1 background check, and a minimum of six years in design with a structural focus. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to pass a T1 security background check.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus from an accredited program.
Minimum of six (6) years of design management and/or design experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of structural design using concrete, steel, and masonry.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design of vertical and lateral force-resisting systems, retaining structures, utility structures, and waterfront structures (piers, wharves).
Review designs, calculations, RFIs, submittals, and design changes for compliance with DoD UFC, IBC, ASCE 7, and project requirements.
Apply innovative technical principles to resolve structural design issues.
Coordinate with multi-discipline teams, government clients, and stakeholders.
Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and meeting documentation.
Support weekly and monthly status reporting.
