Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in Hollywood, FL, seeks a Structural Engineer to join our in-person office. You will lead structural design and analysis for environmental facilities, including wastewater and water treatment plants, dams, and spillways, working on major upgrade projects.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of experience, a BS or MS in Civil Engineering with a Structural concentration, and a FL PE license. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Full structural design per governing building codes and design standards.
• STAAD for analysis and design of structures.
• Perform construction management tasks such as shop drawings reviews and field inspections.
• Communicate effectively and work successfully in a multi-discipline team environment.
• Primarily in-office work, with some travel and field work for site reconnaissance and inspections.
