Position Overview

PRIME AE Group, Inc., a growing architectural and engineering firm with 23 locations and over 500 employees across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast, is seeking a Transportation Structural Engineer to join our Lexington, KY office. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities

1. Perform horizontal structural design for roadway and bridge projects.
2. Conduct Routine Bridge Inspection Services as needed.
3. Collaborate with Project Managers, Senior Engineers, and technical staff to develop engineered solutions.
4. Utilize CAD software such as OpenRoadsDesigner and Civil 3D for design and plans.
5. Perform field visits for ongoing projects.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
2. EIT certification.
3. Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoadsDesigner, and/or AutoCAD.
4. Knowledge of AASHTO, KYTC, MUTCD, and ADA regulations.
5. Strong communication and technical writing skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
7. Team-oriented attitude and work ethic.
