Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex structural engineering work including preparation, analysis, and review of design plans, specifications, estimates, and reports.
• Prepares structural design plans and specifications, cost estimates, and reports for construction and operations of various structural materials.
• Assists in reviews of project status, provides advice to designers, and contributes to cost and feasibility analyses.
• Reviews structural plans and calculations to ensure standards compliance and constructability.
• Designs layout of foundation, floor, wall, and roof framing for major buildings and provides recommendations to contractors and inspectors.
